Abigir Bilghan Project – Mehr 1402
In this project, the company was responsible for designing and implementing a communication network between intelligent actuators with built-in PLCs and the client’s existing DCS system. The project objectives were to establish a stable communication infrastructure, ensure accurate and fast data transfer between field devices and the control room, and enhance centralized monitoring and control capabilities.
The actuators used in this project featured internal control units (from Raad-Ab Company) and were capable of executing independent control logic. To establish communication between these devices and the site’s main DCS network, the Modbus TCP/IP protocol was selected as the communication platform and programmed by the company’s technical team.
In this design, through precise address definition (Register Mapping), control parameters and operational status of the actuators – including open/close status, position, control feedback, alarms, and related process values – were exchanged across the network.
