In this unit, crude oil enters the autoclaves and undergoes a reaction under specific pressure and temperature conditions, converting into Crude Fatty Acid and glycerin water. To precisely control this process, key variables including pressure, temperature, and level were measured and monitored, utilizing Omron brand controllers for parameter control.
Fluid flow control was achieved through pneumatic valves, whose operation was coordinated with the equipment’s control algorithms. The modular structure of the Omron controllers enabled precise adjustment of setpoints, reaction time, and safety logic, significantly enhancing process stability.
The successful implementation of this project led to increased accuracy in the hydrolysis process performance, reduced human error, improved pressure and level stability, and enhanced operational safety in the production unit.
